  • Even if the SE is sitting in the back on an ineligible fare, he can still upgrade someone travelling on a H or higher fare. You'll sometimes see couples doing this (husband sitting in the back and wife sit up front on an upgraded ticket)


  • Sorry lmartin999 I am not on your flight but it brings up an interesting point. If an SE is using an D award, can he bring a guest with an H ticket and use an SE U/G for him?
