Just curious what was the normal warrantee on new Chevy Trial Blazers when purchased new from a dealer in 2006?
I have one with 36150 miles and do not know if the warrantee is up or not. I cannot locate my paperwork.
I guess what I am asking is the standard warrantee for a new 2006 Trail Blazer 3 years 36000 miles or is something else?
If it was bought new in 2006 it has the 3 year 36000 mile warranty. Some components have longer like the paint 5 year 100000 miles and the pcm/emissions which has I think its 5 year 80000 miles. It is 3 yr/36K miles. To find out the exact expiration, ask your dealership service dept to run a "VIS" (this is a vehicle warranty history). This will give you the exact in-service miles and warranty expiration date and mileage (for example if your vehicle had 250 miles when bought, the VIS will show the warranty expires at 36,250 miles).
Also if you are having issues with your car that the dealer can't resolve you might want to have them contact the District Service Manager (Chevy rep). They will usually take care of problems for you if you are slightly past the warranty expiration.Your basic warranty is up as well as your roadside assistance. You still have corrosion protection, power train coverage, emission's system coverage.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
