  • I'm sorry if I am repeating something you already know, but I was suprised (and pleased) to learn that SAS EuroBonus Gold members are Guaranteed a room at Radisson SAS Hotels Worldwide (if booked 72 hours in advance).

    I didn't know this was available, and it has really helped me getting a room at a "fully-booked" hotel in Budapest.

    I don't know if they extend this to other StarAlliance Gold members, but it may be worth trying if you are ever stuck for a room.

  • It did work once (this march) when I went to the SAS-office in Zurich (with my UA-StarAlliance-Gold) to try for a reservation in Copenhague (when the hotel itself said before: sold out).
