My ear/cartilage is swollen and red - from a piercing. how can i treat it?

  • yeah welll. I don't actually know if it's infected. it's definitely swollen though, and nothing i do to it helps (antiseptic, piercing wash...)

    help??


  • if you just had it done like today just try & not touch it.
    if it is over 2 weeks maybe take it out for a few days.. & wash it with salt water... it will sting but it will get better


  • You need to take out the earing and if it is in fact infected you have to go to the docter where he will give you either meds or an anti- biotic cream for the infection.


  • i had the same problem you have to let the hole close up and clean it with antiseptic

  • Go to your GP as soon as possible and get some antibiotics to clear the infection.
